I work across brands, businesses and community organisations, helping with everything from brand direction and websites to social media, campaigns, events, design and the thousand little things in between.
Based in Alberta. Originally from Wales.
My work doesn’t fit particularly neatly into one marketing box — and that’s probably why I enjoy it.
On any given day I might be building a website, creating a campaign, designing an event poster, writing copy, planning social content, working on a magazine, helping promote a local business or communicating something rather more complicated.
I work hands-on across marketing, branding, design, digital content and communications for a growing collection of businesses and organisations.
Some are commercial.
Some are community based.
Some are luxury.
Some are wonderfully local.
They’re all different — and that’s the fun of it.
Across a Few Different Worlds
The breadth is deliberate, not random.
Not an unrelated hobby — the community work is woven into the same marketing, communications and brand work I do across everything else.
These are capabilities demonstrated through my portfolio — not packaged services with invented pricing.
I don’t want every project I touch to look the same.
A luxury magazine shouldn’t feel like an arcade. A marina shouldn’t sound like a financial-services company. A community association shouldn’t communicate like a golf course.
My job is to find the personality already there, sharpen it, and communicate it properly.

Bearspaw, Alberta
I’m a Welsh-born marketing specialist now based in Alberta, Canada.
I work across an eclectic collection of businesses, brands and community organisations — which means my job rarely looks the same two days running.
My background has given me a fairly unusual combination of creative and practical skills. I love the visual side of marketing, but I’m equally interested in the words, the strategy, the customer experience and what the business is actually trying to achieve.
I’m happiest somewhere between a good idea and making it happen.
I can move from a luxury magazine to a community event, a golf campaign, a website, an arcade promotion or a financial-services brochure without needing everything to look or sound the same.
Because good marketing isn’t about making every brand look like me. It’s about understanding what makes that particular brand worth noticing.
Originally from Wales, I now live in Alberta with my family. When I’m not working on one project, I’m normally thinking about another one — usually with a coffee nearby and far too many browser tabs open.
I’m always happy to hear about an interesting business, brand, event, publication or community project. If you think I might be able to help, say hello.
